เมื่อวันที่ 25-27 มกราคม 2567 ที่ผ่านมา บริษัท คาโอ อินดัสเตรียล (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด โดยส่วนงานธุรกิจเคมีภัณฑ์สำหรับการก่อสร้าง ได้เข้าร่วมงานการประชุมวิชาการคอนกรีตประจำปี ครั้งที่ 18 (18th Annual Concrete Conference) ณ อุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือตอนล่าง (RSP) มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีสุรนารี ซึ่งจัดเป็นประจำทุกปีโดยสมาคมคอนกรีตแห่งประเทศไทย กิจกรรมประกอบด้วยการบรรยายเรื่องเทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมสีเขียวสู่ความยั่งยืน การจัดแสดงเคมีภัณฑ์และเทคโนโลยีต่างๆ ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับธุรกิจปูนซีเมนต์ ธุรกิจคอนกรีตและธุรกิจก่อสร้าง โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมงานจากจากหลากหลายภาคส่วน เช่น บริษัทผู้ผลิตปูนซีเมนต์ บริษัทผู้ผลิตคอนกรีตและคอนกรีตผสมเสร็จ บริษัทผู้ผลิตวัสดุก่อสร้าง สถาปนิก วิศวกร ผู้รับเหมาก่อสร้าง รวมถึงคณาจารย์และนักศึกษาจากสถาบันการศึกษา เป็นต้น

ภายในงาน ส่วนงานธุรกิจเคมีภัณฑ์สำหรับการก่อสร้างได้เข้าร่วมจัดแสดงเคมีภัณฑ์และเทคโนโลยีที่เป็นนวัตกรรมของคาโอ ได้แก่ MIGHTY SP-401 (High Water reducing agent for Precast concrete application) ซึ่งเป็นสารเคมีที่นำมาผสมในคอนกรีตสำเร็จรูป เพื่อช่วยลดการสูญเสียในกระบวนการผลิต และ NEWTLAC series (asphalt rheology modifier) สารเติมแต่งเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในยางมะตอยสำหรับงานถนน ซึ่งเป็นนวัตกรรมจากการนำพลาสติกชนิด PET ที่ใช้แล้วมาเป็นส่วนผสมในการทำถนนลาดยาง ซึ่งได้รับความสนใจจากแขกผู้เข้าร่วมงานเป็นอย่างมาก

On 25-27 January 2024, Kao Industrial (Thailand) Co., Ltd. by Infrastructure Chemical Business participated in the 18th Annual Concrete Conference (ACC18), at Lower Northeastern Science Park (RSP), Suranaree University of Technology. The ACC18 is held annually by Thailand Concrete Association. For this year, the event included a lecture on Green Technology and Innovation for Sustainability and Chemicals and Technologies exhibition which related to the cement business. The event was attended by participants from various sectors such as cement manufacturers, concrete and ready-mix concrete manufacturers, building Material Manufacturing Company Architects, engineers, construction contractors, as well as faculty and students from educational institutions.

In the event, Infrastructure Chemicals Business exhibited Kao's innovative chemicals and technologies, including MIGHTY SP-401 (High Water reducing agent for Precast concrete application), a chemical compounded in precast concrete and NEWTLAC series (asphalt rheology modifier), an enhancement additive in asphalt for road applications which is innovation in plastic by using the PET plastic as an ingredient in paved roads. The exhibition gained a lot of attention from attendees.
